Who is he to argue when he's being directed to look at his brother? And that suggestion has him curious, brushing his mild embarrassment away as irrelevant.

It's enough he lets a little smile tug at his lips and his arms curl tighter around Runyu's waist.

"What did you have in mind?" For more, he means.

[dragonrising]

"Well..."

Sliding his gaze over to the bed, he gave it a meaningful look before returning his eyes to his brother. Their relationship had already crossed a line. They shouldn't go further. Yet, he didn't actually want to stop. The fact that Xufeng didn't either amazed him but Runyu found he didn't want to question it either.

So he gave him a bit of a knowing smile and lifted a brow to question if he understood.

That was exactly what he'd thought. But hadn't wanted to assume.

A line crossed already, and yet...his brother cares just as much about that as he does, it seems. Of one mind.

He lets himself grin, slowly. Then adjusts his hold on Runyu before standing, lifting him and carries him to bed.

And yes, after setting his brother down, he leans in and steals another kiss as if such an answer is needed.

Runyu gasped as he was picked up, not having expected that to be part of how this would go. He probably should have given his brother's nature but he was surprised regardless. Even when he was set down again, he was left blinking up at him.

The kiss was a good distraction though. Reaching up, he wrapped his arms around his shoulders so he could pull him in. While he wasn't as strong as Xufeng, he knew he could still make his desires known.

Right now? That desire was to have that warm body on top of his own.

The gasp makes his grin grow, and he lets himself be drawn in and down. Strength, between them, isn't a contest so much as a collaboration. They each have their own special talents.

Xufeng stretches out over his brother, covering him as the kisses continue. They've silently made their decisions - and he nips lightly at his brother's lips. Teasing before soothing with a deeper kiss as he lets a hand stroke down along Runyu's side.

He was not about to just accept bites without returning his own. Lifting his head, he nipped back at Xufeng's lips as he arched up into him. At the deeper kiss, his hands moved to cup his neck before sliding under all the layers of silk to touch what he could of his back and chest.

So much warmer than himself. It was addicting. Sighing as their tongues tangled together, he made doubly sure there was a strong barrier around his room. No one was sure to come here but he refused to take chances.

Not when he wanted to have this moment with every fiber of his being.

He'd be disappointed if he didn't get nipped in answer.

The gentle chill of his brother's fingers at his neck, slipping past all the layers he wears, is enough to make him hum - almost a trill, to be truthful. And he shifts to shrug at least some of those layers out of Runyu's way, especially once he feels that barrier be reinforced.

Any restraint at that slips free, and he lifts himself up a little, lips still claiming his brother's, silently inviting those clever fingers to touch everywhere they wish.

The invitation was all the dragon needed to scramble and undo the layers. To shove them off of his brother until only pants were left. That was fine though. At least this way he could feel the warm skin, let his fingers trail over scars from so many battles. Humming happily, Runyu found his brothers hands and encouraged him to return the favor.

After all, he didn't have to be so shy with Xufeng. He knew about his scars. There was no need to fear judgement about them with this one person. It was such a relief as he pressed himself close, wanting so badly for skin to touch skin.

Flopping back onto the bed in a breathless huff, he gazed up at his brother, eyes dark with want. "Touch me. Everywhere."

[firefalling]

He chuckles against Runyu's lips at the scrambling and shrugs the cloth off before pressing in again. Then pulls back as those hands guide him in what his brother wants. He immediately helps free his brother of most of his layers, leaving also just the pants.

Each scar is already known. He presses his brother back down on the bed, grinning a little at that huff that is far more adorable than it has the right. He leans in for a playful little kiss at that demand, then uses the position to roll them before stroking his hands over cool skin.

Here is one person he doesn't have to be the strong one with. Invulnerable. He bends a knee, nudging it up between his brother's legs as fingers trace over slender arms. One hand slips around to tease at Runyu's chest and abdomen while the other explores that back.

"You can too."

It was surprising to suddenly be on top but he quickly found that he liked it there. It made him feel strong and powerful even though he'd never considered himself stronger than Xufeng. A gasp escaped him from the attention before he managed to sit up on Xufeng's hips.

Reaching up, he freed his hair and allowed it to fall around his face where it curled just a little around his slim features. Casting the cloth aside, Runyu leaned down to run his fingers along his brother's chest before lifting a brow at him.

"I was already touching you everywhere though. Perhaps my touch was too light? Should I be firmer?"

Jikan AU? Anywhere away from the heavenly realm.

She is his shadow, trailing after him like a naughty sprite. So far, so good, she thinks. He hasn't noticed me! Jin Mi generally thinks she can be graceful when she pays attention. The problem is she has trouble keeping reign on her thoughts and, before she knows it, she trips or tumbles.

Unfortunately said trip now happens at the worst possible moment, sending her catapulting into Phoenix's back. Warm! Her mind cheers at the contact, but the more sensible part of her brain has her jerking backwards, her hands raised in defeat.

"Phoenix..."

As someone who lives his life followed around, waited on, fawned over, knowing someone is right there is something Xufeng is adept at. But also, he's skilled at ignoring them until he has to acknowledge their presence. So when he's followed in Nippon, even when it's for days, he doesn't acknowledge he's noticed. It's not his brother, nor A-Yan.

Only when the shadow gets close enough to trip and crash into him does he tense before turning to help steady the girl. He blinks at the call then raises a brow, studying her as she shows she doesn't need the help. And that she doesn't intend to be a threat - which he brushes aside as laughable.

But he doesn't recognize this one. Even if there's an odd little tug, but he brushes that aside too. As if he should know her.

"Yes?"

Laughable? She could be a threat! Only...she doesn't want to be. Not to him. Pressing her lips together, her gaze darting from his all too handsome face to...anywhere else...Jin Mi tries to come to grips with what his welcome tells her.

He doesn't remember her, does he. A beat passes and then she smiles, bouncing a little, a happy, care-free fairy. On the outside, at least.

"You don't remember me, Your Highness? That isn't very nice, you know. I've saved your life...mmm..." she counts on her fingers, "Three times? You owe me."

[firefalling]

To a Phoenix? Hmph! Silly grape.

So she knows who and what he is. And the claim to him owing her for saving him three times? His eyes narrow but studying her has him draw in a breath before not quite letting it sigh out.

"If that is true," and he finds himself believing her, "then I know why I do not remember them. So you will have to remind me, and state what you want." Because it doesn't matter if he doesn't remember, or know yet. It's still a debt to pay.

[watergrape]

She planted him in the ground and watered his poor burned head! She fed him her special honey - multiple times! - and while she could be fussy about this, it's him. She can't be too hard on him after everything he has done for her.

"I'm..." just a grape fairy is on the tip of her tongue, but it isn't true anymore, "Don't you want to know who I am? If I was a soul eating monster, you wouldn't be so quick to agree!"

[firefalling]

It's...cute how she fusses. Which startles him into lowering his head to hide a little smile, stifling a laugh that threatens to escape. Mastering his mirth, he lifts his head with a challenging look.

"It doesn't matter. If you're a soul eating monster, say so."

[watergrape]

She blinks several times, taken aback. Say so? What would a soul eating monster do? Curling her fingers into "claws", she tries to growl.

Grapes shouldn't growl.

"Aren't you frightened?" she smiles as if she has done a fine job, "I'm rare, you know. Not many monsters were once grapes."

[firefalling]

But her attempt is adorable and the chuckle can't be resisted anymore! Neither can the little grin in answer to her smile.

"I see. You're a grape monster. I'll admit I have never met one of your kind before."

He doesn't say he's afraid or not though. Of course not!

[watergrape]

Seeing him smile almost... No, she wants to be paid! For Rou Rou's sake. She touches the pouch at her waist to remind herself.

"I'm much more than a grape monster. I just didn't know it!" until recently, "I guess I feel a little responsible for you. When you fell from the sky, I was sure you would never walk around and talk."

[firefalling]

He notices that odd pouch and how she touches it and wonders, but doesn't ask.

Xufeng blinks and his weight shifts just a little. "So you're the one who found me." Well. Finds, in his case.

"I heal quickly," as he knows he's proven simply by the fact she's been following him around.

[watergrape]

Her pouch is important; she is never without it! Jin Mi frowns, trying to understand why he would use the past tense? So he knows someone finds him and helps him, but -

"Someone told you about the future?" she concludes, nodding, "My honey works well on you. I'm sorry for calling you a Crow."

[firefalling]

"Not much," he allows. "I remember being attacked and then falling. Then I was brought here, and my brother did not seem surprised to find me alive." Hence, he doesn't die and someone had helped him.

But to be called crow has him give her a bemused look. "Why crow?" So insulting to the firebird he is!

[watergrape]

"Mmhm! You fell into the Water Mirror and we found you." she looks around at the mention of Runyu - the Fish Fairy, "He's here?"

She wouldn't mind seeing him and his little Dream Beast again.

"You were all black and burnt! To a crisp!" she tuts and shakes her head, "I planted you in the ground, watered you and fed you honey."

[firefalling]

Xufeng hums in confirmation. Thinking about it, she never was stalking him when he was around his brother.

"Honey tastes good. I'm not surprised it helped me heal." But watered? Planted?

"What is your name?"

[watergrape]

"My special honey is something I've been working on for centuries! It's a mixture of rare herbs with the honey to lend them sweetness." Jin Mi pulls out the vial and pops open the top to let him smell, "Oh I... I'm Jin Mi."

Which means nothing in the heavenly realm.

"The... The daughter of the Water Immortal and the Floral Immortal."
